Cash Fare Icon Fare Zones

Sonoma County Transit's service area is divided into fare zones. The amount of your fare will depend upon the number of zones through which you travel. For example, from Santa Rosa to Glen Ellen on Route 30 would be a 3-zone trip. It would be a 4-zone trip on Route 60 from Geyserville to Santa Rosa.

Use the Zone Chart to determine the length of your trip. If you have questions regarding fare zones or need further assistance, please call our Information Operators.

Cash Fares depend upon the number of zones through which you travel. For example, a trip from Santa Rosa to Petaluma is a 3-zone trip and a trip from Santa Rosa to Guerneville is a 4-zone trip. Fares on routes designated as "local" service are the same as a 1-zone fare. Local routes are as follows: RT. 10, 12, 14 Rohnert Park, Rt. 24 Sebastopol, Rt. 28 Guerneville area, Rt. 32 Sonoma Valley, Rt. 66 Windsor.
