Santa Rosa Transit Mall – Temporary Move Tuesday, September 3

August 26, 2024

The City of Santa Rosa will be completing a vital infrastructure project designed to revitalize and rehabilitate the deteriorating pavement along the Santa Rosa Downtown Transit Mall, starting on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. The project will take about 8 weeks to complete. All buses that serve the Transit Mall will relocate to the Temporary location at 1st Street (between Santa Rosa Avenue and D Street). Some buses will also stop directly on Santa Rosa Avenue (between 2nd Street and 1st Street on the westside).

This move will impact riders using CityBus, Sonoma County Transit, Golden Gate Transit, and Mendocino Transit Authority. For more information and a detailed map of how the Temporary Transit Mall will be laid out can be viewed at; https://srcitybus.org/relocation/

The Temporary Transit Mall will include transit amenities along First Street, such as transit shelters, additional seating, signage, and a temporary restroom trailer. The customer service kiosk will be temporarily relocation to the City Hall Annex front counter for bus pass and Clipper Card sales.
