Proposed February 2027 Service Changes
Sonoma County Transit, in coordination with our partners at Santa Rosa CityBus and Petaluma Transit, is planning several service changes for February 2027. A public hearing on the proposed changes is tentatively scheduled for the October 27 Board of Supervisors meeting.
The proposed changes are based on recommendations from the Marin-Sonoma Coordinated Transit Service Plan (MASCOTS), Phase II, a joint planning effort among the three transit systems, and look at how the three systems can work more like a single regional transit network. The goal is to improve connectivity, reduce duplicative or overlapping service, better coordinate transfers, improve reliability, and provide stronger connections to the regional SMART system.
Proposed Sonoma County Transit changes are outlined below. As revised schedules and maps for the proposed changes are developed, they will be linked below. Please send all comments to sct-comments@sonomacounty.gov. Public comment will be accepted until November 15th.
