Paratransit

Thank you for your interest in ADA Paratransit Service.  Paratransit Service is reserved for persons living with a disability who are unable to use lift-equipped fixed-route buses.

Though the Americans with Disabilities Act does not require a transit agency “to meet all the transportation needs of individuals with disabilities,” it does ensure that people with disabilities receive the same mass transportation available to the public.

What is ADA Paratransit Service?

ADA Paratransit Service is a shared ride transportation service that is not dependent on trip purpose.  Paratransit Service primarily serves origins and destinations within ¾ of a mile from regular fixed-routes at the same hours and days as fixed-route service.  Click here to review the Rider’s Guide that details policies for Paratransit Service.
