Service update for Sunday, August 11;
Routes 20, 30 & 60 are operating on their Daily schedules.
Routes 44 & 48 are operating on their Weekend schedules.
Summary of Schedule Changes – Sonoma County Transit will introduce the following schedule changes effective Sunday, August 11:
Routes 10, 12, 14 – Rohnert Park / Cotati Local Service – Supplemental school trips have been added back into the schedule that provide school commute service to Lawrence Jones Middle School and Rancho Cotate High School.
Route 10 now serves the Green Music Center on the Sonoma State University campus. New routing through the SSU campus provides service to the flagpole bus stop (main entrance) and the Green Music Center. After serving the Music Center, the route exits onto Rohnert Park Expressway. The route continues west on the Expressway to Snyder Lane where it turns south and resumes its normal routing.
During school commute periods, supplemental service from the “K” Section to the Lawrence Jones Middle School and the Rancho Cotate High School via Kerry Road is introduced. One trip from the “K” section in the morning and an afternoon return trip are provided. See schedule for more information.
Route 20 – Monte Rio, Guerneville to Santa Rosa – No schedule changes have been made. Fourteen eastbound and twelve westbound trips remain on weekdays. On weekends, eleven eastbound and nine westbound trips are provided.
Route 24 – Sebastopol Shuttle Local Service – Minor schedule changes have been made to accommodate the school commute to Sebastopol Charter School. Morning departure times from the Sebastopol Transit Hub are 7:23, 8:30, 9:30 10:20 and 11:00am. Afternoon departure times are hourly at 12:05, 1:05, 2:05. 3:05, 4:05 and 5:05pm.
Route 26 – Sebastopol to Credo High School, Rohnert Park – The weekday commute service to Credo High School and Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park resumes with its schedule unchanged.
Route 28 – Guerneville, Monte Rio, River Area Local Shuttle – Service on Moscow Road resumes between Villa Grande and Duncans Mills. New simplified routing operates between Occidental and Monte Rio, Monte Rio to Duncans Mills (via Moscow Road), Duncans Mills to Monte Rio/116 (Rio Theatre) and then east to Guerneville, the Library, the Senior Center and Neely Road where the route reverses. Service begins at 7:45am and concludes at 5:04pm. Route 28 operates Monday through Saturday.
Route 30 – Sonoma/Sonoma Valley to Santa Rosa – The Route 30 trip that serves the Petaluma campus of the Santa Rosa Junior College, Credo High School (Rohnert Park) and Sonoma State University is reintroduced. In the morning, the trip departs Hanna Boys Center at 7:00am, Boyes Hot Springs at 7:05, El Verano at 7:12 and the Sonoma Plaza at 7:22, arriving at the Petaluma Santa Rosa Junior College campus at 7:52, Credo High School at 8:12 and Sonoma State University at 8:20. In the afternoon a return trip leaves SSU at 3:30pm, Credo High School at 3:40 and the Petaluma SRJC campus at 4:00pm. Youth and College Students ride fare-free!
In addition, a 6:25pm eastbound trip has been revised.
Route 32 – Sonoma / Sonoma Valley Local Service – An updated schedule is introduced that provides service to the Sonoma Valley High School at 8:05am via the North Loop and 8:15am via the South Loop. Minor revisions have been made in the late afternoon schedule to accommodate the school commute from the high school. The new schedule facilitates transfers between the two Route 32 buses at the Sonoma Plaza between 9:00am and 1:10pm.
Route 34 – Sonoma to Santa Rosa – The afternoon trip now departs the Sonoma Plaza at 5:15pm, arriving at the Santa Rosa Transit Mall at 6:25pm. Route 34 operates on weekdays.
Route 40 – Sonoma to Petaluma – A westbound trip has been revised to depart Sonoma Plaza at 4:25pm, arriving at the Petaluma Transit Mall at 5:10pm. Route 40 operates on weekdays.
Route 42 – Industry West Park to Downtown Santa Rosa – Service resumes to the Amarosa Academy on Standish Avenue. The first southbound trip departs the Santa Rosa Transit Mall at 8:00am, arriving at Amarosa Academy at 8:18. On Thursdays. a 12:45pm trip departs northbound from Amarosa Academy to the Santa Rosa Transit Mall. On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, a northbound trip departs Amarosa Academy at 3:15pm.
Routes 44 & 48 – Petaluma to Santa Rosa via Penngrove, SSU, Cotati and Rohnert Park – A new route 44/48 weekday and weekend schedule is introduced with minor running time adjustments. On weekdays, 17 trips operate northbound, and 18 trips operate southbound. On weekends, 10 trips operate northbound, and 10 trips operate southbound.
Route 60 – Cloverdale to Santa Rosa via Healdsburg and Windsor – New 6:25am northbound and 8:00am southbound trips are added on weekdays. Four trips have been revised that operate daily.
Youth (18 and under) ride fare-free under a pilot program subsidized by the Sonoma County Climate Resilience program. In addition, College Students and Veterans ride fare-free with appropriate student identification. All local routes (10, 12, 14, 24, 28, 32, 66, 67 & 68) are fare-free for all riders.

Sonoma County Transit’s NextBus system is currently undergoing updates for the revised schedules effective August 11. It is expected to be restored by August 16th.

Summary of Schedule Changes – Sonoma County Transit will introduce the following schedule changes effective Sunday, August 11:
